How to Access Analytics in Easy Subscriptions

  1. Go to your Shopify Admin Dashboard. 
  2. In the left-hand menu under Apps, click on Easy Subscriptions. 
  3. Select Analytics from the submenu.

 

 

You’ll now be directed to the Analytics Dashboard, where you can access key metrics and insights across different tabs:

  • Overview 
  • Cancellations 
  • Inventory Planning 

 

📊 Analytics Tab Breakdown & Insights

🔹 1. Overview Tab

Provides a snapshot of revenue performance, order trends, and customer insights.

  • Gross Revenue
    → Total income generated from subscriptions.
    ✅ Helps track business growth and revenue trends over time.

 

 

  • New Revenue
    → Income from new subscribers during the selected date range.
    ✅ Useful for measuring the success of recent campaigns or promotions. 
  • Recurring Revenue
    → Ongoing revenue from existing subscribers.
    ✅ A core metric for forecasting income and the sustainability of your subscription model. 
  • Orders
    → Total number of subscription orders processed.
    ✅ Indicates volume and engagement. 
  • Average Revenue
    → Gross revenue divided by total orders.
    ✅ Helps assess customer lifetime value and pricing effectiveness. 

You can filter results by Last 30/60/90 days and more for trend comparisons.

 

🔹 2. Cancellations Tab

Tracks customer cancellations and attempts, offering a view of churn behavior.

  • Cancellation Attempts
    → Number of times users initiated a cancellation process.
    ✅ Early warning signal for dissatisfaction or pricing issues. 
  • Canceled
    → Number of completed subscription cancellations.
    ✅ Key churn indicator. 
  • Skipped
    → Customers who chose to skip instead of canceling.
    ✅ Opportunity to keep them engaged and reduce churn. 
  • Claimed Offer
    → Number of users who accepted a retention offer (e.g., discount).
    ✅ Measures the success of your retention strategy. 
  • Cancellations by Reason (Bar Graph)
    → Categorized data on why users cancel (e.g., too expensive, shipping delays).
    ✅ Directly informs retention strategy and product or service improvements. 

 

🔹 3. Inventory Planning Tab

 

(If enabled) — Helps in forecasting product demand based on upcoming subscription renewals.
✅ Assists in restocking decisions and avoids under/over-supply issues.
